The use of operant conditioning to facilitate the introduction of drill baboons (Papio leucophaeus) (1995)
Simerson, J. A.
Abstract
A previously single-housed male drill was paired with another female. Although baboons are normally a social species, we have observed little physical contact between Ace and Rosie. Neither have we observed any aggression between the two. The two animals spend most of their time in close proximity and follow each other when one decides to shift between the two adjoining enclosures.
