Abstract

Results suggest that the description of behavioural expressions is based on commonly perceived and systematically applied criterea, and could be used as a refinement of existing methods of welfare assessment. .. Boredome, defined as the process in which animals gradually cease to be active interactors and loose their interest in the environment, becoming apathetic and/or inflexible in their responses.
