The effects of environmental enrichment on murine immune response (2002)
VandeWound, S., Rollin, M., Avery, A.
Abstract
Breeding pairs in cages that included enrichment (nestlets, jars, a ladder) had significantly fewer litter than the pairs in cages that did not (p<0.01). .. Our data suggest that while the immune response to one commonly used model antigen, ovalbumin, is not affected by environmental enrichment, enrichment does have a profound effect on the thymus.
