Abstract
According to the responses [from AZA-accredited institutions], 13.2% of the prosimians surveyed exhibited some form of stereotypic behavior. Pacing was the most common behavior. .. It is interesting to note that 58.3% of the institutions that housed individuals that engaged in stereotypic behavior reported being at least partially successful in reducing the behavior, mostly throught enrichment and training. However, the only treatment that was reported to completely eliminate stereotypic behavior was the use of fluoxetine (Prozac?) by one institution.
