Abstract
Hair-pulling is a behavioral component of pyschogenic alopecia which is characterized by continued licking of an area and/or pulling of fur until hair is removed. Some cats focus this behavior on one particular are, with resulting alopecia, abrasions, ulceration, and secondary infection.
