Restraint techniques for animals - Non human primates (2001)

Abstract

Nonhuman primates no matter how small can be dangerous. Injections can be given to a confined animal with the help of a squeeze cage. Chemical immobilization with ketamine is effective. Only trained and experienced personnel should attempt physical restraint of a conscious animal.
