Removing the blindfold in blind intubation: A summary of tips and tricks for successful rabbit intubation (2020)
Szymczyk, K., Gabriel, S., Zegre Cannon, C.
Abstract
Intubation in rabbits can be difficult due to their unique anatomical features. Large incisors, long narrow oral cavities, thick tongues, and limited mobility of the temporomandibular joint make laryngeal visualization difficult. It is the hope of the authors to share techniques to help increase successful intubation in the rabbit.
