Abstract
Guidelines for housing of macaques in the Netherlands. Single-cage housing should be discontinued as a standard procedure for long-term housing. ... Young animals should be given larger cages [than minimal-sized standard cage] to permit exercise. ... The cage should have provision for climbing and also for hiding to permit escape from social aggression.
