Abstract
Though discussions have often focused more on chimpanzees than on monkeys, the added attention to the former species is disproportionate to the far greater number of monkeys used in research in the United States,for whom retirement considerations are equally warranted. ... This article is written to assist biomedical and other research facilities which may be considering retiring ex-research monkeys and other primates.
