Abstract

Successfully established exhibit vegetation is often the key element in environmental enrichment for zoo animals. The vegetation within an exhibit can cater to a wide range of animals' psychological and physical requirements such as food, shelter, shade, camouflage, sanctuary, perching, and nesting.
