Mealtime activity for lemurs (1993)

Tomoser, S.

Abstract

An enrichment feeding technique for lemurs that is inexpensive and requires minimal preparation time, yet seems to give the lemurs a chance to exhibit natural feeding behaviors. I used the hard outer shell of half a coconut and filled it with fruits or vegetables. Mash the food item somewhat, to make it harder to pick up, and put it inside the half coconut shell.
