Abstract

The institution must avoid a minimalist approach to implementing the enrichment program(s) and the IACUC must take a proactive role in its oversight. ..Environmental enrichment is an environment in which complex stimuli are provided to alleviate the occurrence of abnormal behaviors (p. 466).
