Abstract

One or both individuals were transported in a nest box and released, either in an unfamiliar cage, or in a cage previously inhabited by one of them or by both of them (ie the two cages were joined togheter. Three was no prefamiliarisation period. ..This study shows that pairing of unfamiliar common marmoset females is a safe practice if one monkey is sexually immature.
