Criteria for acoustics in animal housing (1963)

Anthony, A.

Abstract

The pattern of physiological changes elicited by noise is the same in laboratory animals as in humans. It is well established that noise exposure is associated with increased adreno-cortical activity which, in turn, results in a depression of the number of circulating blood eosinophils.
