Challenges of forming a new gorilla group (1995)

Abstract

This paper will address the challenges, expected and unexpected, that were encountered during the introductions of these three gorillas. We have tracked these introductions along with some of the rationale for decisions based on each gorilla's history, personality, individual responses and interactions at each phase.
