Abstract

Training protocols are described to ensure cooperation of ten single-housed baboons during blood pressure measurement and during oral drug dosing in the homecage. The duration of training has varied; two animals accepted this procedure reliably after 2-3 months of daily training while other animals required 4-5 months of training.
