Abstract

During the conference [Association of Primate Veterinarians Workshop in Baltimore, October 2001], AC [Animal Care] staff members discussed a recent survey of primate housing that shows that 65 percent of primates in research [including breeding animals living in groups/pairs] are pair/group housed, with only 13 percent having no contact with other primates.
