Abstract
Restriction of early experiences in pups results in increased anxiety and over-reactive behavior in the adult dog. These behavioral problems can be avoided by providing pups with early experiences involving novel stimuli and changes in environment to prepare the pups to deal with situations they may encounter as adults.
