89% of the [1000 grants reviewed] did not specify type of housing. .. It was determined that 77% of the monkey grants involved invasive procedures. .. 45% of the total number of grants involved rhesus macaques [baboons; 11%; pig-tailed macaques; 4%; squirrel monkeys: 4%; marmosets: 4%; cynos: 3%].
